Prior to joining ITV, Kylie worked as a presenter and reporter for the BBC in Nottingham.
ITV presenter Kylie Pentelow - remembered fondly in these parts for her time working in Nottingham and across the East Midlands - has announced she's quitting the broadcaster after 10 years as she embarks on a fresh chapter. Most recently working as a presenter in the West Country studios, she has sat in the anchor chair alongside a number of reporters over the years, reports the MirrorOnline.
"The great thing about ITV News is that if you have an idea it is rare that someone says no. That is a great culture to have in an organisation. After ten years it is time for the next chapter. What I have done during that period has prepared me for that," she added.During her time at ITV, Kylie presented a variety of shows, including the investigation programme How Safe is a Sun Tan? following the death of her father from skin cancer in 2015.
Kylie took to Instagram on Thursday to share a photo of herself smiling and holding a bouquet of flowers at the ITV Studios on her last day on the job. "So sad you're leaving. Wish you and your new young family all the best for the future. You were brilliant," one person wrote.
