Craig Reed will be confirmed dead to ITV soap fans weeks after he raped Lydia Dingle as the revenge plot surrounding the storyline is set to play out.
Emmerdale star James Hooton, who plays Sam Dingle in the ITV soap, has teased his character's involvement in Craig Reed's death - with many fans likely speculating which one of the Dingle family could be behind the murder.
On Sam struggling while Lydia's battling with what happened, James told the Manchester Evening News: "He always wants the best for his wife. He loves her beyond belief and is extremely loyal to a fault almost but he doesn't always follow the requests that she's giving him.
