The Rafah border crossing between Gaza and Egypt has opened to allow injured people to leave the enclave for the first time since the war began more than three weeks ago, according to Egyptian media.

Reports have suggested a group of injured evacuees from Gaza have entered Egypt in ambulances via the Rafah border crossing this morning. 'There have been a lot of injuries from within Gaza, a lot of the elderly and the young who are in desperate need of medical attention.
