Sergeant Graham Saville of Nottinghamshire Police died on Tuesday, August 29, after being hit by a train in Balderton at around 7pm on Thursday, August 24
British Transport Police has issued an update on its investigation after a police officer who was hit by a train died in hospital. .
The 29-year-old man sustained electrocution injuries and was taken to hospital, where he remains with injuries not believed to be life-changing. Detectives from BTP are continuing to investigate the full circumstances of what happened.
