A brand new international supermarket selling ‘a bit of everything’ has opened in a Nottingham shopping precinct. Himalaya World Foods opened at the Compton Acres shopping centre, near West Bridgford, less than a week ago but is already receiving positive feedback from customers.
“There’s a big Asian community in the area so there’s spices here, ready-to-eat meals and all oriental products. I’m local to the area and I’ve seen that if you don’t have a car, commuting is the first of its kind.” “People keep on letting us know what else they want to see here and we will deliver this.” Shoppers also voiced their thoughts on the new, small supermarket. Heena Mindal, 31 lives in West Bridgford.
