MCR Property Group, the firm that owned the shopping centre, attributed the fall to a "nationwide shift in shopping habits".Graffiti also fills the shopping centre, with one strange scene showing a doll's head planted on top of a traffic cone.Opened in 1972 to much fanfare, the shopping centre in Cheshire was previously the largest of its kind in Europe.
