The empty Arran Mall gap site in Ayr has been smashed up by mindless yobs in a two-night wrecking spree
– once the High Street's main shopping area. Thugs broke into the gap site and caused extensive damage in a two-night wrecking spree.who recently appeared on BBC show, Gordon Ramsay's Future Food Stars, keeps a storage unit at the mall and says the centre is “finished” after being “left to rot”.
On Monday night, Rachel went to collect items before noticing the horrendous damage to her unit. She says vandals tried to torch empty shops before breaking into hers. Paint was poured over her belongings and items stolen.
