Just last night, Emmerdale fans were reminded of the importance of the graveyard as multiple shots of its headstones and surroundings were shown as part of the opening scenes to its special birthday episode. The rattling scenes were a reminder to lifelong fans just how many bubbly and vivacious characters had strolled through the village at some point during its 50 explosive years on-screen.Emmerdale continues all this week at 7:30pm on ITV.
