Lamb dish Lahori Gosht is one of the best-sellers

An Indian takeaway in Nottinghamshire has won a top award in a UK-wide competition. The crown for Best Takeaway of the Year at the Curry Life Awards 2023 went to Delhi Eastwood.

All of his cooking skills and knowledge have come from his upbringing and being around family, who were always working with ingredients from scratch. One of the takeaway’s top-selling dishes is the Lahori Gosht , a gravy-based dish with lamb and a combination of yoghurt, fried onion, garlic, ginger and coriander. A popular vegetarian dish is the samosa chaat, a traditional North Indian street food.
