James Buckley has said he avoids using public urinals after being approached by one-too-many eager fans of his hit show The Inbetweeners.
It also inspired two films, books, a US version of the show, and a 10th-anniversary reunion episode titled Fwends Reunited.
Although he is always happy to meet fans he doesn’t appreciate it when he is stopped mid-flow at the urinal by people who want to talk to him about the show.podcast. ‘I haven’t used one for years, I’ve always got to go to a cubicle because it has happened, I’m there with it out and people are trying to talk to me about The Inbetweeners. Despite it being tricky for him to use public toilets, the actor said that the majority of fans he has met have been lovely and want to share their love of the show.thanks to his Jay-esque insults – doesn’t think he’ll ever get used to being recognised in public.‘I just wanted to be an actor, more specifically I just wanted to make people laugh on television,’ he said.
‘I didn’t really consider that there might be a chance that people would recognise me if I walked down the street.
