At just 19 years of age, Bellingham has established himself as one of the finest midfield players in Europe. Indeed, his form for Borussia Dortmund of late has highlighted the star power he possesses.
Former England midfielder Redknapp feels the youngster can emulate the careers of some England greats. “They are alike. They are just great midfield players and generational to be honest. Stevie, Frank Lampard; he’s a little bit of everything Jude. That’s what I like about him. He’s very controlled. He’s just an exceptional young man.”
This season has already been a sensational one for the midfielder, and a good World Cup could raise his stock even more.
