The planned Preston IKEA location has been revealed 👀
Now, a planning application submitted to Preston City Council shows the store would be situated in Unit M1, which was occupied by Toolstation until 2019.
The application explains: “A POP is a new trading concept for IKEA, with Preston being one of the first locations to pilot this operation. “As such, POPs are required to be conveniently located to where customers live, work and commute, and given they involve the display and sale of bulky products, require a showroom which is centrally located to a wide customer base.”If the store gets approval, customers will be able to either book an appointment online, or walk in without a reservation.
