Council worker was shot dead aged 28 in her own home in Old Swan in August last year
The 28-year-old died after being found unresponsive in the back yard of her home on Leinster Road, Old Swan, shortly after midnight on August 21 last year. Detectives previously stated that a gunman had burst through her front door and fired multiple shots "indiscriminately", one of which had struck the Knowsley Council environmental health officer in the abdomen.
Magistrates panel chairman Brian Locke remanded him into custody ahead of a further appearance before Liverpool Crown Court on Tuesday next week, August 29. Adjourning the case, he said: "These matters are indictable only, they must go to the crown court. Fitzgibbon nodded his head and replied "yeah". Four men are due to stand trial accused of Ms Dale's murder in October.
