Coronation Street's Simon Gregson' wife runs a cafe in Cheshire
A Coronation Street star's family run cafe has won over the public thanks to its delicious treats and inviting atmosphere.
You also get a chirpy "good to see you again", and punters nestle into their "favourite" spot in the floral-emblazoned cabin set next to a garden centre. Manchester Evening News Journalist Dianne Bourne took a trip to the cafe and here's what she thought of her experience. The sponge is so light it’s as if angels have whipped the thing together. The jam in the centre is a glorious gloop with lumps of fruit, all topped with a layer of fluffy cream.
