Rasmus Hojlund hopes to hit the ground running at Manchester United but admits it will take time for him to adapt to new surroundings.
A stress fracture in the back, flagged during medical tests, has kept Hojlund out since, but Erik ten Hag admitted that after a full week of training, he has travelled with the squad to north London. He was also handed the No.11 shirt on Sunday morning. "It's a good combination to perform but you never know. It's a new beginning and I hope I can hit the ground running but let's see.
Despite only turning 20 in February, Hojlund has had plenty of experience adapting to new leagues and teams. The striker left FC Copenhagen in his home country last January, moving to Austrian Bundesliga side Sturm Graz the following summer before Atalanta in Italy a year ago.
