In the autumn and winter months when temperatures start to drop, you may notice more condensation forming around your windows.
The viral hack of wiping down your windows with washing up liquid was tested by Nottinghamshire Live writer Sam Cooper, who says they were left "impressed" with the results. It took literally five minutes and, as mentioned, we don't get our windows streaming with condensation. It's normally just the bottom of certain windows that get a little bit on the colder days.
The condensation formed above it but the washing-up liquid did not sit on the bottom of the windows - which, if left, can lead to black mould and mildew building over time. I was impressed that such a simple, cheap product did the job I wanted it to.
