George soon returned to normal life. Posting a selfie of himself munching on some pizza, he wrote on social media: "Eating pizza and watching #FIFAWorldCup replay after a lovely long shower. Thanks for all the amazing messages. The love always transcends the negativity. This b*tch still gives great headline. I have seen them all and laughed heartily!" However, he has skipped his exit interview and claims indicated that he has asked to jump on a flight straight back to England.
