ImACeleb star Owen Warner has been keeping everyone entertained in camp
After being the second person voted off I’m A Celebrity in 2018, Hollyoaks actor Malique Thompson-Dwyer hopes his best friend and co-star Owen Warner trumps him and reaches the final.Malique, who plays Prince McQueen on the soap, and Owen, 23, met on Hollyoaks when Owen joined the cast in 2018 as Romeo Nightingale.
Here, dad-of-two Malique reveals why Owen is a “charmer” with the ladies and why, just days before Owen headed into the jungle, he asked his pal to be godfather to his newborn daughter, Milan…He’s such a lovely guy, so charismatic. He’s always there, he’s the person I always turn to for advice. He’s got a good way with words.
There have been times where I’ve been down and he’s brought me up. I couldn’t say a bad word about him. He loves his family and his friends – he’s the glue to all of our friends.What means the most to me is people who are there for my kids, and ask about them and do nice things for them – that’s Owen.the jungle, he came into work with a gift for her, a little blanket. No one else did. And he checks in on people.That’s just normal for us boys.
We’ve always got to be on point – you can’t have dead trainers or a dead trim! It keeps us on our toes and keeps us looking fresh. He will be annoyed with not getting a trim.His mum. Their relationship is so sweet. I reckon he’ll miss us boys too. If I’ve not been around for a bit, he’s on the phone, “Where you at, mate? Coming round for a brew?”I’m not sure he is, but if it happens, it happens. I don’t think he’s going there specifically for that.
