Ewan Bowlby first discovered something was wrong when he was just 17
At 17, Ewan Bowlby was looking forward to the next stage of his life. Sporty and active, he had grown up in Oxford and university was beckoning. But then something went wrong. Ewan had started to have seizures and eventually he was admitted to hospital for tests. ‘I was very unwell by this stage,’ he says. ‘I had no energy and felt terrible.’ A scan showed that Ewan, still a schoolboy, had a brain tumour.
