I found a 'flattering' £45 M&S black dress that's 'so versatile'

I felt really confident in the dress

I never really thought to visit M&S to see what it has to offer, until I came across a stunning option when visiting the new Liverpool ONE store. I was on the hunt for a dress that I could wear for special occasions as well as more casual events, and found the perfect option.

On the M&S website, the full product description reads: "Bring a touch of vintage-inspired glamour to your wardrobe with this pure cotton poplin dress. It's cut to a comfy regular fit, and featuring a feminine square neckline. The piece has shirring at the cinched waist and at the three-quarter-length puff sleeves, with frilled cuffs to create a romantic finish. M&S Collection: easy-to-wear wardrobe staples that combine classic and contemporary styles.

I went for my regular size 12 which was fairly snug on the waist but it wasn't too tight. The dress wasn't too low-cut but still flattered the chest area nicely.
