After buying into the hype, it's clear to see why so many people are ditching their ovens for this handy kitchen gadget.
These days, there's little more annoying than a person who makes a purchase - whether that's tech, clothing or anything in between - and then proceeds to make it their entire personality, bringing it up at every opportunity.
But I've found mine to be worth absolutely every bit of hype, as it saves me time in the kitchen and helps me to prepare food in a more efficient and tasty way than ever before. It comes with seven different pre-set cooking functions - chips, fish, prawn, chicken, steak, pork chop and bake. However, as a vegetarian, I've only ever had to use the automatic function which has worked for everything I've made so far.
It's ideal for cooking frozen food such as chips, kievs, goujons and sausages, and leaves everything with a delicious crispy texture that's sometimes hard to achieve when cooking in the oven. The air fryer has racked up plenty of rave reviews online, and it has an average rating of 4.6 stars out of five.
One person in the reviews seemed to agree, saying: "This is ideal for a single person with a small appetite. I qualify regarding the first condition but sadly not the second.
