The team at Indian eatery Horn Please, based in Finnieston, announced its decision on social media on Thursday.
They explained that the closure comes after trying to sustain the restaurant for as long as they could.A statement from Horn Please reads:"With the heavy heart, we have to announce that we have taken the decision to close down. "We have tried to sustain ourselves for as long as we could, but unfortunately we had to make a decision to sell the property.
"This doesn’t mean that we are letting go of our team, only that we will focus on our other business establishments and future business ideas.Customers can be reassured that the team will continue to exercise their passion for food through their private catering and events, their store, and running their Spanish tapas restaurant Cubatas on Elderslie Street.
They added:"Thank you for all of your support throughout these years! We do hope to see you in our other ventures!Regular customers expressed their disappointment at the news, with one commenting:"Noooooo!!!! I am so gutted to hear this."
