The Currys Repair Centre in Newark is the largest repair centre in Europe and there's every chance they've had a hand in something you own
Europe's largest repair centre can be found in Nottinghamshire, where each year over almost 3 million products are processed. The Currys Repair Centre in Coddington, near Newark, and has over 1,000 expert technicians working at the huge 500,000-square-foot site.
"They are not having to buy another one when finances are tough, but it is also great for the environment. We are one of the biggest employers in Newark. The centre also has a repair live team, who help people repair their own products at home if the solution is fairly straightforward and can be instructed remotely, saving customers from having to send in the item and waiting for it to be returned. The company repairs, refurbishes and recycles around 1.25m tech items every year, which accounts for around 56,000 tonnes of e-waste.
