Eye-scratching plans for a £6.8 billion superyacht that is shaped like a turtle have emerged.
Called the Pangeos, the ‘terayacht’ could become the largest floating structure if anyone was brave enough to build it.They could stay overnight at one of the hotels, go for a stroll in the park and spend their hard-earned cash at some of theItalian designers Lazzarini hope their ambitious concept will come to life following an NFT-related crowdfunder, but construction would take eight years.‘A Terayacht needs a Terashipyard,’ the designers said.
With 30 metres of draft, the Pangeos’ gigantic hull is composed of nine different bows, subdivided into several blocks.Lazzarini added: ‘Pushed from a jet drive transmission, the tera-structure will be able to cruise at a speed of five knots.The floating city of your dreams or nightmares, depending on your point of view
‘While sailing, the large wings will gain energy from the breaking of the waves and Pangeos will cruise perpetually without emissions around the planet Earth seas. ‘Further, the rooftop area is lined with solar panels, which provide part of the necessary clean energy to power the terayacht.’
