Michelle Obama is said to have brought Prince Harry and Meghan Markle together - but wasn't allowed to attend the royal wedding. Harry and the former First Lady's husband, Barac,k have been friends since 2015 and were snapped in Toronto together last year.
However, while Harry and Meghan desperately wanted the presidential couple to be there for their nuptials, it would have been a diplomatic nightmare for the government. Harry and Meghan are known to dislike President Donald Trump, who was the US Commander in Chief when they wed, and to snub him while inviting his rival could have sparked uproar.
