BREAKING Horror as baby boy, 1, falls from second-storey window
Emergency services were called to the scene after a baby fell from a second-storey window this morning .
The one-year-old boy was rushed to hospital via air ambulance following the incident on Heap Street, Burnley. The child is believed to have suffered serious injuries. Officers from Lancashire Constabulary and ambulance crews attended the scene shortly after 10.30am following a report the youngster had fallen from the second-story window of a property.An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident is underway. The boy is at Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital.Detective Inspector Mark Saunders said: “First and foremost, my thoughts are with the baby and family at this distressing time”.
“We know following the incident, there were several people who thankfully stopped to help. We’re really keen to identify those individuals and speak to them to find out what happened” Anyone with information or CCTV footage that could help us is asked to contact 101 quoting log 0497 of August 6.
