Watford will continue their preparations for the new Championship season with a game against Premier League opposition when they face Crystal Palace in a friendly later this month.

The Hornets have confirmed they will take on the side managed by former Hornets boss Roy Hodgson in the pre-season fixture at Palace’s Copers Cope training ground on Saturday, July 22 . The match will be played behind closed doors but Hornets fans will be able to watch live coverage via Hive Live for £5.
