They say the children constantly jump off their bed which then 'shakes their bedroom'
An 'exhausted' homeowner says they are "fed up" with their neighbour's noisy children constantly waking them up early every morning - especially on weekends. Posting to Netmums, the resident explained that they have not been able to "catch up on their sleep" because of the boisterous youngsters, who wake up at around 5.30am everyday.
"I know they cannot stop their kids getting up and making noise, I have a child myself I understand that, but the issue is they are not getting out of bed with them. They are leaving them alone in [their] bedroom which is joined to mine for up to three hours alone every morning so they can have a lie in, neglectful really.
"They also come up to bed late gone midnight slamming every door waking me up as well," the poster concluded, asking the question, "Am I being unreasonable or should I complain to the council. I have spoke to them before about the noise but they shrug it if saying they cannot stop them." "Ultimately it’s within their property so not sure there’s much you can do. Before complaining formally I would defo try and appeal to them direct and explain."
