The Metropolitan Police said no offences were identified in a video of a Hizb ut-Tahrir Britain protest showing people chanting ‘Jihad’.

Home Secretary Suella Braverman will meet the chief of the Metropolitan Police after allowing a man to chant "Jihad" at a pro-Palestine protest in London on Saturday.

“There can be no place for incitement to hatred or violence on Britain’s streets and, as the some secretary has made clear, the police are urged to crack down on anyone breaking the law.” Other clips posted on social media from the same protest show speakers using the microphone to speak about a “solution” of “Jihad”.Immigration minister Robert Jenrick said “a lot of people” will find the Met’s analysis “surprising”, adding: “That’s something that we intend to raise with them and to discuss this incident with them.”Mr Jenrick was asked about the incident and wider concerns around protests related to the Israel-Hamas conflict on Sky’s Sunday Morning With Trevor Phillips.

“London has a zero-tolerance approach to hate crime. If anyone has broken the law, strong action will be taken against them.”
