Hollyoaks' real-life couple Emmett J. Scanlan and Claire Cooper welcome baby daughter
Taking to Instagram on Tuesday night, the actor, 43, who played Brendan Brady in the soap, shared the happy news.
The couple, who married in 2015, already share two-year-old son Ocean-Torin Scanlan together. This is Emmett's third child as he is already dad to a daughter named Kayla from a previous relationship. The happy news comes after Claire and Emmett tragically lost a baby in 2019 – before the birth of son Ocean –leaving Claire "fighting for her life".
Emmett starred in Hollyoaks as Brendan from 2010 until 2013, and it was during his soap stint that he first met his future wife Claire.
