Police in Glenfinnan have been targeting visitors who have been causing chaos by dumping their cars on the roadside.
Idiotic tourists who abandoned their cars at the roadside to catch a glimpse of the Hogwarts Express train have been hit with fines by Highland police.
Police say they have also observed pedestrians, including parents with pushchairs, risking their lives by walking into the road for a better view. They said: "Today, some visitors to Glenfinnan went away around £180 poorer after the police gave them the choice of paying a fine or having their vehicle towed away.
"We witnessed multiple near-misses, as well as pedestrians, some with children and pushchairs, risking their lives by walking in the middle of the road.
