Lancashire's historic Worden Hall finally opens for intimate weddings
The Barn has benefitted from a new roof, windows, lighting, and flooring as part of the works, providing a wonderful event setting amongst the beautiful backdrop of the park.Borough Council said, “We’re so very lucky to have this wonderful building in South Ribble back open to the public and able to accommodate events. For the public to be able to make memories there once again is very special.
“Right from the get-go, and following residents’ views, we wanted the building to be an asset for all the community to use and I am so glad to see the hall getting ready host your events.”Councillors Paul Foster, Matthew Tomlinson, Aniela Bylinski Gelder and Mick Titherington at Worden Hall and in the Barn
“It’s great to see final work taking place to ensure that The Barn is ready for the summer. We’re improving lighting and pathways and are resurfacing roads throughout the park as final touches for this first-class venue”.Event bookings can be taken for The Barn on Mondays through to Saturdays , for both daytime and evening functions. Alongside private bookings, the public can expect to see seasonal events like craft fairs and exhibitions.
