Enjoy half a million bulbs in bloom at Northern Ireland’s royal residence from March 4th Sp HillsCastle
Spring is just round the corner, and visitors to Hillsborough Castle and Gardens can look forward to a blooming marvellous time as Northern Ireland’s royal residence prepares to host its inaugural Spring Spectacular.
In total, more than half a million bulbs will create a dazzling spectacle of bright colour and sweet scents for visitors to enjoy when the event opens on March 4th.There will be no less than 55 different varieties of flowers on show, as narcissi, crocuses, tulips and native Irish daffodils come into bloom.
The Spring Spectacular will also feature the annual NI Daffodil Show on 25th March, alongside a series of walks and garden workshops like wreath-making throughout the spring.
