There are only 800 keys available to the park at anyone time
You need to be a member to access the "Key Park", a unique area of green space tucked away off Warren Road in Blundellsands. The park is described as one of "very few in the United Kingdom" and spans 20 acres.
The park has a number of walks, including a view of the Mersey estuary from the highest point and a children’s play area. The area can only be accessed by members who have a key, with the locks being changed every year.She said: "There’s a massive waiting list to get a key as there’s only so many available. I went on the list in early 2018 and got my key in late 2021.
Important rules include not being able to lend your key to non-members, not being able to bring more than two guests on any visit and children aged 12 or over are not allowed to use the play equipment.
