From her relationship with fellow athlete Andrew Pozzi to her close friendship with actress Jodie Comer, here's everything you need to know about athlete Katarina Johnson-Thompson

Katarina Johnson-Thompson already boasts numerous incredible achievements, and now she has won the heptathlon gold at the World Championships.

It represents a remarkable return to the top for Johnson-Thompson after a ruptured Achilles in 2020 and a calf injury at the Tokyo Olympics which forced her to quit after day one. The defence of her Commonwealth title last year saw her return to the podium but a global medal puts her back among the world’s best ahead of next year’s Paris Olympics.
