Police are appealing for more information after a blood bike delivering to 'those in desperate need' was stolen and abandoned in Salford.
Officers say the motorbike was taken in Cadishead between 1 and 10 am on Saturday morning . The bike was found abandoned in the wasteland behind Cumberland Avenue. It is believed the thieves wheeled the bike down Allenby Road through to the allotments where it was discovered.A Greater Manchester Police statement said: "This motorbike, used to transport blood to those in desperate need, was stolen, damaged and ditched this morning in Cadishead.
"It was stolen between the hours of 0100 and 1000 this morning and abandoned in the wasteland behind Cumberland Avenue. We believe the offenders have used Allenby Road and the surrounding estate to wheel it through to the Allotments.
