Officers discovered some scooters had been 'wired'
Callous would-be thieves scrambled from police after trying to steal mobility scooters from those who need them. Greater Manchester Police says it was called out to Bankfield Road, in Stockport, in the early hours of this morning following reports of a number of males attempting to steal mobility scooters.
Police searched the area in an attempt to find them, but the group had disappeared. While searching the area, they discovered two mobility scooters which had been 'wired', GMP says.
