Heartbreaking tributes have been left for beloved teacher Marelle Sturrock after her sudden death on Tuesday.
At Sandwood Primary School where Marelle, 35, was a teacher, the flag was flown at half mast in her honour.that headteacher Fiona Donnelley paid tribute to the 'much-loved member of the school community' as the students and faculty were grappling with the devastating news.
Meanwhile, at the Jura Street property where Marelle's body was discovered, students have begun to leave flowers for their late teacher.Marelle's death is being treated as suspicious and police remain on the scene at Mugdock Park searching for her partner David Yates in connection to the incident.Detective Chief Inspector Kelly added:"A visible police presence will remain at both locations as our work continues.
"There is not believed to be any risk to the wider public but I would urge anyone with information or concerns to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident 0904 of April 25 or speak to any of our officers."
