A former headteacher who called teachers the ‘blonde one’ and ‘the pretty one who had the baby’ has been banned from classrooms.
Paul Scott, 54, often made female teachers at Arboretum Primary in Derby, Derbyshire, feel like ‘pieces of meat’ due to his comments.
He once allegedly told a colleague vying for a pay rise: ‘Seeing you in your underwear would be a really good start.’ A staff member told the panel: ‘I remember one time when I had a T-shirt and a matching cardigan on, and Mr Scott was looking at it and said, “I like the way you’ve got the vertical stripes”.Another said: ‘One day I was carrying dinosaur pictures and Mr Scott was looking so I said, “What is it? What are you looking at?”.
