Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's bombshell Netflix docuseries did not make the cut for the Emmy Nominations 2023 which could have big consequences for the couple's struggling media career.
Harry and Meghan's lack of nomination came as a shock and has reportedly left the couple "rattled" after they were "100 percent confident" their ground breaking series would get at least one nomination.Boardman told Daily Express US: "There is a lot standing on Netflix's investment if it doesn't win but the award would carry huge status for them".
While Harry and Meghan may now miss out on those lucrative deals, they are still clinging onto their $100m contract with Netflix. Their own introspective series was not the only story that they told with Netflix as Archewell Productions which is owned by Harry and Meghan's Archewell Foundation also produced Live to Lead.
As their Spotify deal was terminated early, the couple may lose around $10m as it's thought they won't receive that full payout.Meghan spoke with a variety of stars on the show including Serena Williams and Pars Hilton about the labels that attempt to hold women back from their careers.
