Read exactly how royal tradition was broken by Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's announcement of Lilibet's birth
Congratulations are in order for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry after they announced the birth of their daughter Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor.
When their son Archie was born in May 2019, Meghan and Harry announced the news hours after the Duchess had given birth at the Portland Hospital in London. Kate followed suit and has welcomed Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis at the private hospital. It’s believed that royal fans could be waiting a while before catching a glimpse of the new baby, as Meghan and Harry are now under no pressure to share one following their departure as senior members of the royal family.
