A former soldier has been jailed for 14 years for the 'brutal and horrific' rape of a woman he met on a dating app
British Army Corporal Sam Evans was jailed for 14 years and will spend a further four years on licence after offering to take the victim home in a taxi from a night out.

He went on to admit he may have been 'heavy handed' and could have made her lose consciousness for a period of time.
