Get ready.
“Limited edition” has become a watchword in the fashion glossary. Restricted availability is synonymous with premium quality , high demand and even greater hype. The Swedish high street chain, H&M, has perfected the strategy behind its limited edition drops. And, no, we’re not referring to the brand’s highly-anticipated designerH&M Studio
Featuring 39 exclusive pieces, the collection leaves a “like” generating trail in its wake: think bombastic leather biker jackets, a strapless denim dress, frou-frou skirts, oversized tailoring and a velvet bustier. All which could’ve been lifted straight from a cool girl’s main grid. “For today's social-media-savvy generations, keeping it real is as important as looking a million dollars, and we wanted to create a collection that can go from day to night, and from off-duty to on-duty, without compromising on flair,” says Linda Wikell, concept designer for H&M Studio. Mission accomplished.First launched in 2013, this drop marks a decade of elevated studio collections for the retailer, and it shows no sign of slowing down.
