The Eat Well for Less and Masterchef presenter now helps others change their lives
TV presenter Gregg Wallace has shared the secrets of his dramatic four-stone weight loss as he now runs a fitness website. The Masterchef and Inside the Factory presenter has ditched the weight as part of a fitness drive as he focuses on raising his four-year-old son Sid, who has autism.
Gregg said his weight loss journey began with a warning from doctors. He said: "I had massive cholesterol, which is hereditary. The doctor said, "If you don't do something, you're heading for a massive coronary." I used to have takeaways or be in the pub four or five nights a week. The Eat Well For Less presenter added: "There are three horsemen of the get-fat apocalypse: booze, snacking and takeaways. Well, who's going to give up booze?"
"It takes three minutes to grill a fish, 30 seconds to pour stock into couscous. If you want to save the nation from obesity, you have to teach the nation to cook."
