A Watford home would follow its neighbour's lead and be converted into three apartments under a new plan.
The proposal, which was added to the Watford Borough Council planning portal on Wednesday , would transform the detached house into two one-bedroom units and one three-bedroom unit.
The existing property, in Green Lane, has a kitchen/living area on the lower ground floor, two bedrooms on the ground floor, two on the first floor, and two on the second floor.If approved, the lower ground floor will be its own studio flat, with the ground floor being another made up of a separate bedroom and living room. The two upper floors would then be one apartment with two bedrooms on the top floor and another, with a living room/kitchen, on the first floor.
The studio flat would be accessed via a new door, while the other two would share a small hall area with a staircase.The neighbouring house has already been turned into three self-contained flats, as approved in 2019.
