Many fans and viewers of the hit Channel 4 programme have been left devastated at the news
Matt Lucas has dramatically quit the Great British Bake Off saying in a statement that it's become clear he can no longer host. He added that after three series and 51 episodes he was "cheerfully passing the baguette on to someone else".
"But it's become clear to me that I can't present both Fantasy Football League and Bake Off alongside all my other projects. So, after three series and 51 episodes, I am cheerfully passing the baguette on to someone else. Many of his fans and viewers of the hit Channel 4 programme have been left devastated at the news. One person said: "Thanks for the memories! "
