Hundreds of spectators will join the 14th annual World Gravy Wrestling Championships to watch competitors battle it out in the ever-popular event.

The event held at the Rose ‘n Bowl in Stacksteads on Monday, August 29 will include face painting, tombolas, bouncy castles and fine food and drink being served all day.Participants can also raise funds for their own chosen charities, while grappling in the sauce and providing fun for the hundreds of visitors who attend. Doors open at 12.30pm and the fun starts at 1pm.
