Man United had been interested in making a move for Ryan Gravenberch but he reportedly prefers Liverpool.
With the transfer window closing tomorrow United are still looking to add to their ranks before the deadline. A goalkeeper, left-back and midfielder are all on the agenda.
Gravenberch was being spoken about in the same breath as Jude Bellingham last year but started just six times for his new club after moving to Germany.Ten Hag worked with Gravenberch extensively at Ajax but it appears Liverpool are leading the race for his signature. According to the Athletic, the Merseyside outfit have opened talks over a permanent deal for the 21-year-old.
A sale may depend on Bayern's ability to sign a replacement and one player they have been linked with is Scott McTominay. However, Thomas Tuchel is not keen on signing the United man, according to The Telegraph.
