Govt 'too quick' to say progress made for supporting rape victims - campaigners

Campaigners believe the government has been"too quick" to make claims about improvements for supporting rape victims, despite conclusions of a new progress report.

The programme - known as Operation Soteria - aims to use evidence and new insight to enable police and prosecutors to transform their responses, and the government claims there are early signs of improvements in participating areas.
