A former Prime Minister read from the bible at a Glasgow church to mark an important milestone.
Gordon Brown and his brother John visited Govan and Linthouse Parish Church on Sunday to deliver readings to the congregation.Brown was among the guests at the celebratory service which was held before a lunch attended by members of the congregation and other invited guests.
The former PM has a special connection to Govan and Linthouse Parish Church as his father Reverend John Brown was their minister.
